Make sure the ribbon cable holder near the power button is also secured! This happened to me - I probably opened it accidentally when taking the top off with a pick, and this is what caused my power light to stutter when I tried to turn on the PSP.

What exactly were you doing with the power flex tape? Pressing it down? Sorry, it's hard for me to see what you were doing with it.

i'm reconnecting the power flex by pushing to the power socket on the psp board then press down the socket lock then put scotch tape on top of the power flex to secure the flex i hope this will answer your question.

It’s usually the power button. Remove it get a new one or clean the old one. It’s worked for me

kuya ice try to troubleshoot step by step 1. try using other charger 2. try to change battery 3 .try to change charging port 4. if is still not charging maybe there is line or board component that is damage you may bring it to repair center .But before you buy charger or battery you have to test it first if is the problem of your psp to save you money if is not the problem don't buy maybe it is on board problem i hope this will help you good luck.

i have a red psp 3000, and this is the strange thing: At first it would work fine for hours, i bought it used and modded with cfw, it usually turns on with the charger in tact, but if its only battery forget it, however, when i take the battery out and turn it on with only charger it boots up with green light instead of orange, then after a few minutes i pop the battery in and take out the charger, usually the system can play between 10-30 minutes before a random shutoff, after the shutoff it doesn't turn on without the charger again, also before anyone says, I have already replaced it with a brand new battery, still no luck, i wanted to know if anyone knows this is a cfw issue? Or is it just faulty hardware with the power or something?

@@akedojune No maam, sadly i did not, i replaced the battery, tried numerous different methods, such as recovery boot, nothing helps, like i explained to someone else, I would just say it is faulty hardware at this point :(, if you do manage to figure out something, please let me know!

also ribbon cables like to slide out over time so like the video shoed make sure they stay plugged in all the way. even if you have to tape them in place

@@kanwong208 usually the problem is on the connection of battery terminal and the psp get a neddle and try to pick the battery terminal to make a closer contact on the two metal on each terminal l make this also to the remaining battery terminal .Put your battery on psp then push the battery on the side of psp terminal then power on your psp if it solve your problem put some tape on the side of terminal before closing.I hope this will solve your problem.

@@kuyakikotv6699 nung una okay pa naman . Problem ksi nito is ung charging port at nawala ko ung charger kaya sinubukan kung idirect via usb cable. Gumana naman sya ng 2 hrs pero bgla nalang namatay . Napansin ko sa baterya nya is lumulubo na. Posible kaya na batterya ang defective dto ?

Hi Kuya Kiko, Na try ko to video mo and nag work nman na ung charging indicator nya. Pero pag inaalis ko ung charger ng turn off sya. Nag try ako gumamit ng other psp battery ng off p rin sya. Ano kaya possible problem? TIA 😊

Thanks sa video boss pero di yata applicable sa akin. Ang problema ko sa PSP 2000 ko, namamatay habang naglalaro. Bale di na kasi nag chacharge kaya dinadaan ko na lang sa adapter mga ilang linggo na, okay naman pero ang nangyari ganun nga, kusang namamatau habang ginagamit. Board na ba yung problema?

try po muna ninyo manghiram ng ibang charger baka po luwag na yung female plug ng charger kaya pagnaibo habang naglalaro ay namamatay nawawalan ng connection sa loob

maybe power flex is defective and there are other parts that might cause no power like power switch,battery,software issue,board problem it is more economical to bring it to repair shop than to order online all the spare parts to use on troubleshooting the problem.Our diy video is for minor problem for complicated issue i advise to bring it to repair shop thank you for visiting our channel

New Subs mo Lods. ask ko lang ano ba sira ng psp1000 ko. minsan mag oopen pero mas mdalas ayaw na mag open. bago battery, power switch nya. nag chacharge din naman.

Awts 13 lng ako wala pa ako alam dyan, nasira ko psp ko non dahil sa tekken nagrage quit ako binato ko tas sinuntok yung joystick at buttons, ngayon ayw na magcharge tas mag open Wala kasi ako self control noon ayos pa sana😞

Pa help naman kuya 1. Chargimg sya minsan, pero after ma standby for a few hours di ma sya nagpopower kahit full charge yung battery 2. Magbubukas lang sya if charger plugged, then ok na ulit. Mauulit lang yumg prob 1 after ilang oras 3. Psp 3003 unit, 3 batteries na ginamit ko ganun pa din issue sa lahat 4. Nagpopower on naman sya pag charger plugged Power related ang issue sana po mapansin nyo

@@crashpotato6388 malamang po palit na flex kung mayroon po kayo flex try po ninyo kung wala naman po mas matipid na madala na po ninyo sa repair shop kasi po kung bibili ka pa po ng flex online pwede po gumawa or hindi kasi po madami pa pwede pagmulan ng no power.

you must not disconnect, but you must reconnect it properly then put scotch tape to hold the flex.
