Been dealing w this left scap issue for three years. Tried everything. It’s about 80% better after just a couple weeks of your exercises, Conor. Nobody I’ve seen ever talks about the ribcage🤦‍♂️ your Left aic vids were spot on for me also. You were the missing link to make sense of all my self observations. Can’t thank you enough bro 🙏🏼 chronic pain relief is an inexplicable feeling

Likewise man. Had so many Chiro's and PT's upset when I kept bringing up discomfort underneath left scap that felt like it was coming from my ribs and they had no solution.

I have been looking at your videos and they are amazing. I’m an amateur boxer and I have been feeling lately like my posture is awful and I took a couple of photos and found out that my head is a bit forward and my shoulders are rounded. I don’t know it there is a way that I could pay for a specific program that could help me. Thanks

Hi Conor. Which of your videos would you suggest for severely underactive rhomboid and lower trap (both right side). I am Left AIC...right ribcage compressed so bad I genuinely think my rightside rhomboids/ Lower traps have been inactive for years. Your video very much helps with left serratus anterior activation. Thank you!

Yes, when I started doing these exercises after watching your chronic pain video things started changing very quickly. Rib cage is pretty sore in a good way. The only thing slowing me down is what I think to be entrapment of the medial branch of supraclavicular nerve on the right side. What you are saying here gives me context on what is happening in the front. Left sternoclavicular joint is dislocated and cervical instability convection to the left. I was wrong when I commented on an earlier video, 1989 was the first time rotator cuff exercises were prescribed for me. I might have to arrange to come down that way for a visit so you can dial me in with the specifics of my situation.

@@tonymanuge1932 thank you Tony! I just watched the chronic pain video. Do u have more info on Tip #2: Controlled Pause Breathing technique? The link in the vid doesn't seem to work. I think we might have similar pattern:- My T-bone is also shifted to the left and rotated a bit forward. My upper thoracic is pretty jammed up as a result. Have you purchased any of Connor's program? Thinking of trying the Beginner restoration and No BS shoulder.

So, when you exhale and push into the ball I assume when you inhale you release the ball or do keep the tension on and build on it gradually for each exhale? Trying it but not really feeling where you say I should.

Big question, is it common for these exercises to cause a bunch of burping and releasing air from my mouth? I’m noticing so much improvement in my pain but it feels like air is constantly coming out

Hi Conor, I have dealing with left shoulder issues for sometime I never seems to progress on it. I do stretches and massages almost everyday but nothing. Some weeks ago I noticed my left arm in pain I hardly sleep when I laid on my left arm. So please what can you advise me and which exercise would be better for me? I will be glad to hear from you.

How does the second exercise compare to the seated band pull apart upper back expansion? Is it similar or does the band change things much?
@francoisiswatching
@francoisiswatching Жыл бұрын
Good question. The exercise is extremely helpful for me without the band, but with the band it's becomes useless (in terms of release, maybe it's useful for something else).

@@francoisiswatching That's super interesting. The band helped me get rid of my shoulder pain and really helps release tension (I gained 1.5 inches in height!!!). I'll try both for a while.

Nobody really gonna do this extremely complicated exercises for each body part isolated because they need functional structure and body awareness which people with those condition lack and therefore are having a problem. Good physical therapist never be someone who didn't suffer some conditions himself because he never understood what it's like.

I have for sure had some PTs who seem to be disconnected from the reality of what those of us with chronic pain experience. Our suffering is real, and it doesn't help us to have PTs give us many exercises with many reps to be repeated multiple times a day on one isolated part of our body. Thank goodness for Conor and the work he does to educate and provide tools for us for free. He doesn't suggest nearly so many movements as I have been given by past PTs, and he involves breath work and the whole body system, not just specific, isolated joints. I have had more relief from doing just a few of the movements he shows in his videos than I have with months of in person PT. I think one of the differences with Conor is that he integrates the biomechanical education in what he does. If I can understand a movement and why it is helpful and what it does, I am a lot more likely to follow through with it. Also, it cannot be discounted that someone who has not experienced chronic pain yet who is empathetic and who takes the time to truly listen can have a positive impact in the lives of people with chronic pain. Someone who can set aside their learning to pause and listen to someone who says that something is too much or painful, someone who is willing to learn from the pain community, they can and do make an impact. I don't know what your pain situation is like but I know from my own experience it can be isolating and demoralizing. I hope that you are able to find some supports that help aid you in your journey.

I think more focus needs to be on cause and how to stop the problem. Excercises whilst laying on the couch whilst streaming would be good. Laying in the same position is not good, you seem to need to reverse position to fix things

It's hard to take you seriously when you seem so focused on the skeletol structure when talking about soft tissue.
@Krokador
@Krokador 5 ай бұрын
did you listen to anything he said in the video? Your muscles are tied to the bones and what move them. Dysfunctional patterns incorporate not just the skeleton but the musculature working with it. Bones don't move on their own!
@KittyBoom360
@KittyBoom360 5 ай бұрын
@@Krokador Bones are passive while soft tissue like fascia, muscles, tendons, etc are the active agents. And when you feel shoulder pain, the pain is not in your bones. So him standing there with a skeleton to explains things seemed misguided. You don't explain things like exercise, yoga, weight lifting, etc with a skeleton. Like, no one does that because it doesn't make sense.
