Anyone who is doing the following and it still doesn't work, reset your roku on the back of the roku device hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds and then just set it up again and it should fix itself. Hope this helps

my tv is PITCH BLACK and there’s some red light blinking on it and no matter what j do, reset it, unplug it; it won’t WORK do you know what to do?

Thanks for the tip, I tried 2 different cables, on 4 different power sources (2 different cubes plugged into the wall tv usb port and Nintendo switch usb port, nothing helps in my case, time to switch to a nvidia shield I guess.
