Be sure to align the truck perferctly with the old keys and mark where they sit, so you install the new ones in the same position, That way you wont lose the alignment. Also be careful with the fricking pins (the ones that fall in the video) I personally like my truck -2 deg camber, +5 deg caster and a bit of open toe

How do the control arms slide in and out if the eccentric has solid metal between each hole?
@BadAssEngineering3 жыл бұрын
You... remove the eccentric bolt
@xforce6873 жыл бұрын
@@BadAssEngineering Wouldn't that just allow the arm to move in the mount freely, not on a guide? Sure you could adjust it with a pry bar to try and get it within spec, but that seems like a lot of work instead of using a guide pin.
@cuisinwithkev26992 жыл бұрын
@@xforce687 This has been my concern since these came in the mail. I can't seem to wrap my head around how they would hold the UCA properly in place.

These are only for off road purpose!!!! you so will not get the desired numbers for alignment.... the bolts aren't slotted like standard. So when you need to change your caster and Camber need to Jack the truck up take pressure off of the upper control arm loosen the bolt completely and then move the shim where you need it it's a pain in the ass but this is for off-road purposes only
@BadAssEngineering3 жыл бұрын
Once you align with a set of good UCAs, if you change them it doesn't affect the alignment. Unless you crash and bend the mounting points for the suspension, you don't ever need to reAdjust the cams.

Once well aligned why should you have to adjust? All the new ball joints and control arms should be the same size and shape, its not like spares are different
