I encountered a problem to my LED SONY BRAVIA 49” TV recently. I went to Electronic Repair Shop asking if they offering a Home Service but sadly they’re not accepting. I look for another shop and ask the same offer but they CHARGED ME 6,500Php ... I was shocked because of the price, I might buy a new one if ever. Thanks for KZbin WEBSITE I found some troubleshooting tutorials and found out that only SCOTCH TAPE CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM.. I tried to fix it on my own and luckily I fixed it.

Salamat Po! Worked on my Sony Bravia TV. I had to place the tape several times before it worked, starting with the first ribbon on the left. Eventually, placing the tape on the second ribbon on the right side of it worked. That was fun.

May I ask which pin I need to tape it or just randomly tape it?

Trial and error . Try the 4 pins on the right most. Test it. If lines disappear that’s right pins, Then try the 4pins on left if ever.

Depends on the usage of your television. If seldom use it will last a year or more

Change ribbon instead if you have a budget for a repair but if you want less expenses just do it again. This is the usual problem of Sony Bravia LED and all LED tv brand.

@@taragis-04 meron Pero dapat kabisado mo yung connection nya, like yung pagkalas at pagkabit . I am not a pro tv technician but I was before a technician of a digital copier. So I applied only the easiest way in repairing the tv. Kapag complicated repairs, you need to learn first the diagram of the led para sigurado ka.

I have bought sony bravia KD-32W830 TV in month of aug2021 and form past 15 days i am facing an issue. When i turn on my tv I see bands of horizontal colored lines between the android and menu page gets loads and after that these lines dissaper. This issue was not happeing first. I called the service center people and they are saying this is not an issue. Really hopeless people. Can please someone help me to know why this issue is coming.

Well I think the flat ribbon is basically the primary and most problem that this LED is being encountered that causes the lines appearing
