cheers man! do you prime again over the sanded area or jump straight into top coats?

You should try wet and dry sand paper for. Sags and runs, no dust. Nice job!!

If this happened on 16 ft wall would you have to repaint the whole wall or would you be able to blend it in??
@advicefromayoungtradesmant24824 жыл бұрын
Great question - it really depends on context. If it was a really high visibility spot next to a light or something and it was a really high end job, you might have to re-shoot the entire thing. If it was up at the top of the wall and no one would ever notice a small brush blend, it would probably be fine. It can be hard to brush in patches on a spray finish so I'm glad it just happened on this small door jamb this time.

What grit was that sanding sponge?

A sponge labeled "fine" or "extra fine" will work well.

how would you do this with a textured wall? wall was textured, painted, and then painted over and the painter did some pretty bad runs all over the place.

In Vermont we don't have textured walls so hard to say. I'd imagine I'd sand the runs until I got close to messing up the texture and stop.
