I had to all the way to step 3 as my iPhone bricked in the middle of an update to iOS 16.2. In order for it to update, I had to factory restore before it would do so. PITA, my last Apple device. Have any of you looked at how hard it is to change a battery in these phones? Ridiculous. You suck Apple.

​@bytefurther yea i've had my phone taken to a repair shop before. is that why it won't work? i needed the front screen and stuff replaced. cue 4 months later i got it wet again and it's stuck in recovery mode and none of the side buttons work anymore. i haven't tried anything yet tho...what should i do?
