Very useful! First it didn't work on my BB Q10. My mistake was the Font Size I increased to 10Pt for my old eyes so that I got stuck in the mid of the process. Resetting it to 8 Pt solved this issue and I got to the end luckily with the notification disappeared. All in all a long story. First of all I needed to flash the phone with BB OS 10.3.3.3216, because the guy I bought the phone made a complete reset. But now nearly everything is fine. Hopefully it will remain after a reboot or battery change. I did not manage to get exfat work for my 64GB SD Card because the device tries to connect to the Blackberry server. As a workaround I created a partition 32 GB with FAT32. That worked.

Hi Laura I followed your video exactly as you described, I’m trying to bypass the setup screen. I get stuck on the WiFi screen. I do not get any dialogue from screen reader, and no option to skip. What do you think I am doing wrong?

I'm not able to get past the regional update screen. I keep getting Unable to connect and then I have to go back to Connect to WiFi screen

Connect to the wifi and then try to go through the menu again. It's sometimes a lot of back and forth with the Voice Reader to trick the loop.

I have never installed Opera but I have installed many other browsers such as Chrome, Fennec (Mozilla). Have you checkod out this channel www.youtube.com/@ProjectBerry2.0 ? There are also a lot of links and discussions for different apps on CarackBerry like this: forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-10-os-f269/adapted-android-applications-tips-tricks-1173929/ . I will do an another video soon to show how I've added certain apps this way.

I’m confused. I gave up on BB several years ago when all the carriers here in the USA said they would no longer connect them to their networks. How are you receiving calls and texts without SIM? How are you using Facebook Messenger without data access? What am I missing here?

Mine works in France on a french carrier. They no longer work in the US. TMobile was the last to support them but they no longer do.

This was great!!! It worked perfect on my passport that I bought. Now for the hard question......no way to connect to Verizon? Pooped in my sim card from my moto edge, it recognized Verizon but ofcourse no service

If it's not picking up any wifi then maybe there is an issue with the wifi component of the BB.

@@realpaatuhod I did it both ways. I think without the SIM is best since it wont try to connect to data while going through the setup process. If the pop up appears after using the device you can use this trick with the SIM card inserted too.

You can no longer create or use existing BlackBerry IDs. The servers have been shut down. You need to skip the ID part of the setup.

No. BBM no longer works and you can’t install any other apps like WhatsApp. I was able to install Facebook messenger lite and it worked fine.

Hello, I finally solved the problem by re-erasing the BlackBerry Classic (for the second time) and everything works, including the BlackBerry Desktop Manager or Darcy BBTool. If anyone has a tip for a solid and FUNCTIONAL web browser, here it is... I installed two found browsers: Kiwi Browser - Release Quadea 1.0.0.158 (very slow), Opera Mini 1.24423, it can be run once after installation and then crashes. Have fun!
