could you use crayon? that's how we filled in the grooves on dice (for dungeons and dragson) back in the day

well when the sample two knobs go out, couldnt you get volca sample one knobs as a replacement?

@@flipspark since the sample one has the knobs with the lines and stuff, couldnt you get those to work on the sample 2? when you have to replace them due to wear and tear.

Knobotron UV rings might be a better option than marking the knobs up.

Right. Yeah I just checked them out...Im not a huge fan aye. It seems like because they are adding width to the knobs, it might make them even trickier to grab, plus that notch lip extends out and starts to block the labels. But yeah fair, its another option for people!
