How to fix the WATER LEAK Into the vehicle this can happen On any vehicle

You Could have a roof rack on your touring vehicle that is caused this it could be a brand with a bad design it could be somebody’s worked on the vehicle but make sure these holes sealed up specifically we are using a Toyota Land Cruiser LC 150 but the LC 120 is the same Toyota Prado water leak into car can give wet seat belt and fry the computer

I have a 2010 rav 4. I put roof rails on it and simce then i had a water leak. I have taken the rail off twice and applied silkaflex around every possible entry point, even squeezed it into the bolt hole before doing the bolt up and still a lot of water is coming in. Its unbelievable. Really frustrating. Dont understand how it didnt fix it

Done mine, ive sealed just about everything on the roof and ill be stuffed if i can find my leak, comes off the roof lining splashes the dash and lands in passenger footwell. Next step is to literally take everything possible off the roof all the mouldings etc and find the dam leak, its driving me insane.

Thanx, sorted the passenger & drivers side wet carpet problem - My 100s landcruiser was fitted with after market lx470 roof rack / rails and never sealed properly ! Water dripped down front side pillars and did weird things to the electronics behind the kick panels, for example my hazard lights would continue to flash. Until I removed the kick panels and dried the moisture out with a hair dryer, fixed the problem and saved me spending my $$$$ on auto electrician.

Try using Damp rid, desiccant, or use a vacuum with duct tape over the hose, and poke a hole just large enough for a straw/nylon/ silicone hose to fit and then suck the water out.

Mate I got a 120 and I've done the roof rack bolts, the rear centre brake light seal and the rear cargo door seal, some how the carpet at the rear (3rd row seats) is wet. Any ideas where it could be leaking from?
