I unplugged my fire TV, then restarted my router, then plugged my fire TV back in. After it started, then I went to network and did this step and it worked for me. Try this and see if it works for the rest of you guys.

Thank you!!! I used the build of my choice on my kodi app over data at work and it installed perfectly. It's obviously a wifi issue and at first it didn't work and was doing the delay bullshit and then it worked. Thanks man!

Thanks a lot mate. Worked perfectly for me on an NVidia Shield. I could stream from netflix (obviously via the local network!) but, using Kodi and VLC, I kept getting the 'couldn't connect to network' error or similar or, just couldn't see my movie files on my NAS. So, I did as you said. Hey presto - I can now see all my movies and videos. You're a star. :-)

And also on file manager it’ll say couldn’t connect to server. My Wi-Fi is working and it’ll say path not found. I downloaded three different builds and they would disappear or wouldn't play shows. I finally uninstalled Kodi and reinstalled it using a different url. I downloaded another build after that but it wasn't in programs; after I saw with my own eyes it downloading! I went to my add ons, scrolled down to program add ons and the build was there but I had to enable it! Did that and it downloaded again and works fine! I was going to do this network reconnect in this video if all that didn't work. Might do it anyway! Spent about 10 hours over 2 days trying to fix it. I can usually do it within minutes. They are trying to make it hard!

11/13/17 Thank you, after about 2 hours this finally worked. Reconnect to your network like he says. What I did was clear my cashe and data on kodi so it's cleared out, allowed the unknown sources, and used areswizard.co.uk good luck guys

READ THIS I GOT IT: Hey its not kodi or your firestick. It's the repository links. That link you type into the add sorce box? They're taking them down you have to find new ones. I was using ares-repo.eu. It's gone now. I tried wookiespmc.com/wiz/ and it worked immediately, no error message. To check if your repository link is bad just put it into your Web browser. For instance if you try to visit the URL ares-repo.eu on your phone or computer it won't connect. So you know it's broke and doesn't work on kodi anymore. If you do the same with the wookie link I gave you it will connect, which means it will work on kodi. Do a search for Kodi repositories and test them. If your phone or computer will connect to the link kodi will too. Sorry the explanation was so rough it's the best I can do without making a video. It works though, for real. No bullshit this is the real problem. It's that the links are getting shut down and you need to find new ones. It's not kodi or your firestick.

hey i was trying to install xenon too by adding source wizard.diggz.xyz and it wouldn't work.... so i installed ares wizard and downloaded the xenon build from that and im up and running...hope that helps...just search youtube for ares wizard install and look for the diggz build, make sure you dont have another build already installed
