OMG dude THANK YOU SO MUCH. Xbox told me I needed to service my Xbox and I literally tried the first step that you mentioned and advised switching the ends of the cables. I did that and moved to a different HDMI port and it started working again. These things are magic boxes that do what they want. Thank you thank you thank you

Sir my Xbox 360 suddenly failed to connect with TV or PC Monitor by both AV cable and HDMI cable. Though we have been playing it by HDMI cable for 1 year but one day suddenly it did not work. Though the HDMI cable was good we bought another one and also bought a AV cable but it didn't work. We also noticed that the light of Xbox 360 power button was not as bright as it was before. For the last step I have the series S so I held the paring button witch is the small black button under the Xbox button and I held them both for 20 Seconds and something popped up and disappeared and then I did it 2 more times the. It worked this guy is Litrally a life saver

For everyone going through this right now I feel your struggle .. check the pins of your HDMI. one of mine was sideways and I swapped cables... Bam,it works...

Any fix for xbox series s ? turns on etc but option to switch to that hdmi channel on all tvs stays on for a split second then goes straight back off ?

Mine won't work after doing all of these. It turns on but won't display video but I was playing it the other day & b4 that with no issues. I believe it might be my HDMI port but I don't man handle it or do anything bad to my consoles.

mine worked on the 3rd step but I had to hold them longer but it didn't work on my other tv so I tried it on my mom's tv and it worked on the 3rd step but now I get the green Xbox 1 screen stuck

This worked for me, but only after I reset my console via the USB reset method. Once I did that, I was able to get my Xbox to work again.
