The saddest things about Barbie dolls when you purchased them from Goodwill or some thing is that sometimes the outfit is worth more than the doll and the doll is worthless but one time I was at a thrift store and I found a really cute doll and I realized the outfit was more than the doll and the doll would only sell for $.50 and it was so sad and I had to put the doll back and keep the outfit but I sadly lost the outfit due to packing so I cannot find darling more and also when you’re looking at the cleared bundle bags watch out because some of them are not worth it

Tip: when you want to iron your dolls hair you need to turn it on and turn it off and leave it for a few minutes and make sure it’s warm not hot warm and then you can apply the iron cause the iron is to not for the material of the dolls hair hope this help :)

Here’s some advice from someone who’s restored some very jacked up doll hair: Wet it with a spray bottle and brush through gently with a wire brush/metal pick. Important: DO NOT USE PLASTIC! Plastic will make the hair very frizzy. Then spray the hair with water so it’s damp, and iron in sections with a flat iron on the lowest heat setting. Don’t hold it in place for more than a second (depending on the hair, even a second might be too long). Do a few passes, brush through with the wire brush, then spray again and repeat. I’ve found that doing it twice yields good results If that doesn’t work, you can get wig shampoo and conditioner. It’s more gentle and made for plastic hair

I make custom dolls and have experience with many kinds of synthetic doll grade hair and human hair!! Make sure the doll’s hair is dripping wet before you straighten it next time! ❤ the water will steam the hair and protect it instead of straight up melting the hair. Also don’t turn the heat up more than 200 degrees. If your straightener doesn’t have an option under that temperature, alternate between turning it on and turning it off before it gets too hot and reaches the set temperature.

If your flat iron has a heat setting, set it to the lowest setting then it won’t melt the hair unless you hold it on there

You can actually straighten her hair, you get a hair straightener and turn it on for about 10 seconds and wait for a bit and then straighten it and repeat the same steps I hoped I helped!

My 2 year old neice has monna doll that bigger and has long hair. That needs to be fixed a part of her hair has been brushed and then the rest of her hair is still curly. Then I'm going to be cleaning her up also. I got a doll brush and I'm going to be fixing her doll up. Thanks for the video very helpful. Should I use baby shampoo,dish soap, or regular shampoo with conditioner? I'll be doing a video series of me fixing her monna doll here very soon.

If you want to straighting her hair you have to have it at the lowest temperature and try and put aluminium on the hot parts and put it around the hot parts it wont get burnt!!!
