I do everything as you said. But in the end, when you need to load me on the side of the device, nothing just happens .... nothing appears in the program under the device like yours where it says HUB5..Nothing appears and the download system does not start

What is this cable? Are it is regular cable or have OTG adapter inside? Contraptions via USB-A to USB-C male/female connection in middle does not work :(

I’ve downloaded it from many different places and installed and uninstalled it many times on 2 different PC’s. One running windows 8 other one upgraded to 10. I also tried all compatibility settings on both. I hear sound like box hooked up but program doesn’t show device nor up load image. I even created folder in burn tool folder and put image in it still nothing.

Go into device manager and select the usb device (the Qbox), then install/update the drivers. I bricked my Qbox and I dont have the usb to usb cable to do this but I have been doing research to hopefully unbrick the device. Hello, I'm also trying to do this with my Q box, but when I try to load the Firmware image into USB burning tool, I get the "Parse burning image fail" message even though I'm pretty sure the Firmware is not a corrupted file. Do you know why I am getting this problem please?

Hey good video, I want to try this usb burner tool with an older box as I have before with a newer box and worked fine, the problem is thow I cannot find the IMG file firmware anywhere for the Matricom gbox midnight mx2 box. It's almost like it doesn't exist or has been wiped off the internet, if anyone knows I'd greatly apriciate it.

Have you had a problem with not being able to import image? I get image fail come up.

No iv never had a problem myself.Could be a bad download (Re download the image and try again) also try putting the image in the same directory as the burning tool.

Download the Amlogic USB Burning Tool,unzip it then you will see the setup file

Because the file is in 'downloads', once clicked it just opens the file into a breakdown of its contents or sub files I guess they are? Help; log; temp; worldcup_device; etc etc.. Anywho, non of those say 'Open' or 'run' or 'execute' or anything similar, there no Unzip icon in any of the tool bars either?! Anything else you can give me? I hate computers but I'm starting to hate TV boxes more

Ha ha @gently does it We all love to hate Tv box's..Yes im using win10.The file you need should be there almost at the bottom but before you get to that, click on worldcup device folder and in there you should see install driver (install that before you launch the USB burning tool)

@@buytech9951 turns out that my device didn't come with any unzip programmes pre loaded. I had to go to app store to download one.. well actually about six of the dam things until I found a free app that would unpack an .exe file. As I write now I'm about to commence with the rest of the steps you've kindly laid out in your video.
