Not very convincing when it says on the end not rooted. So how to verify? Also, now the device is rooted but what can we do? An example would be nice. And what should we absolutely never do. I don't see the point of rooting the android tv box for a phone I can understand you want a different OS or get rid of some stock apps but most android TVs are pretty clean for removing ads you can install a custom launcher

For the chrome permissions thing: NONE of the things you enabled permission for will help you in any way here. The one you already had enabled, storage, is required however if you are going to download something through the internet with the app. Or even just save a picture for that matter. But chrome will ask for permission when you try that regardless. Basically, this already seems a bit sus. Not that I actually suspect something malicious, but others might assume that despite the facecam and friendly character. So for future videos like this one I recommend having a script written down that you're following. It really helps with accidental misinformation like that and makes sure the video has a consistent feel to it too.

I have a 2nd Gen FireTV (metal square box) that is stuck in "Optimization Mode" I tried several methods for example using a keyboard trying to force it into Recovery with no luck. is there a way to flash new firmware to get it going again and would you know where to find the procedure? I'm also looking for an alternative to the FireTV/Firestick that uses the Google Play store and has no or very little pre-install programs using up a lot of the onboard storage like the FireTV/FireSticks do. Staring with only 8Gigs of storage doesn't leave you much after boot up. thanks

It is very much easy to root Android TV box. But it's very much difficult to install full TWRP recovery on Android TV box plus how will you install magisk manager, it will need full root permission for magisk to work.

King Root can work on boxes with android tv OS but the box you are using in this video is not runing android tv OS, its a normal version of android customized with a launcher that comes by default with root enabled or have a switch to enable it in android config

My 2nd question is is there a limit to the T95 Android box or can we just always program it and update it as long as we have memory stick so on?
