"AutoOff - Shutdown Timer", which I have used for years on my T95Z Plus (china box), which died a week ago. KingRoot does NOT do the job, it is stuck at 01% forever. I did the apk-files via PC & NAS, Chrome is not even available in store ! Like Nvidia Shield TV Pro, they go the Apple way ;-(

For the chrome permissions thing: NONE of the things you enabled permission for will help you in any way here. The one you already had enabled, storage, is required however if you are going to download something through the internet with the app. Or even just save a picture for that matter. But chrome will ask for permission when you try that regardless. Basically, this already seems a bit sus. Not that I actually suspect something malicious, but others might assume that despite the facecam and friendly character. So for future videos like this one I recommend having a script written down that you're following. It really helps with accidental misinformation like that and makes sure the video has a consistent feel to it too.

It is very much easy to root Android TV box. But it's very much difficult to install full TWRP recovery on Android TV box plus how will you install magisk manager, it will need full root permission for magisk to work.
