Hey man, I bought this pump, could you explain how to prime it? The user manual is all jacked up
@HunterCleve2 ай бұрын
I had to buy a check valve on it and make sure it’s air tight use tape if you have to. I also used a 2inch pump to fill it up to prime it. It was just quicker that way. Make sure all the bolts are air tight also

Hunter, how is the sigma pump holding up?
@HunterCleve6 ай бұрын
It’s doing great no issues at all. We’ve only used it one season though In the future I’m probably gonna buy a side shaft motor from Harbor Freight. I’m gonna put a PTO adapter on it and attach it and the pump to a trailer so I don’t have to constantly run my tractor. Also I think they make an 8 inch now for a similar price as the 6 inch.

@@HunterCleve Great to know. Did you have any trouble priming that pump? Your vids are awesome. keep up the great work!

@@scottreid203 I had a little trouble only because we didn’t glue the pipe going into the water. After that it primed right up

What do you do as far as harvesting prior to flooding? By law do you have to harvest for it to not be baiting? And what equipment do you use for that?

We just have a John PTO combine

No need to harvest. Hunting over crops that have been flooded and not manipulated is fine.

Cool, I am surprised it took that big ole pump that long to fill it up. Based on your hat I'm guessing we might to be to far aware from each other.

Yeah man I’m in Alabama. We were running the tractor just above idol probably would of finished fasted if we ran it straight but I was impressed how easy it was to prime up
