3:18 Life jacket? Yes. Kill switch attached? No. He's not thinking logically. If that guy gets thrown out of the boat then he won't immediately drown but his boat will be gone. If he's offshore, then his chances of survival without a boat are low. Ideally you should have both a life jacket and a kill lanyard, but if I was boating alone and could pick only one, I'd take the kill lanyard every time. It really should be an automatic loss if the kill switch lanyard is not attached. But if that was the case I think there would be 0-3 matches every time because I've never seen anyone other than me and the PWC guys wearing them.
