Hi I don't have a magnaclean Pro 2 installed. So is there a way to attach the hoses to the central heating system without the magnaclean attachment? Thanks

How do you know when radiator is 1/2 full ?? - and -exactly how do you control that ? ( dudicous use of bleed valve ?? ) - think you conveniently skipped over this vital part - which impacts on the successful removal of debris using vibration from sds drill?

Hi Eric, thanks for your query. When filling the system up do not bleed the radiators, turn the boiler on and allow to heat up. The bottom of the radiator will only be warm. When the system is hot start to bleed the radiators one at a time and feel the heat rise up the radiator until HALF FULL approximately. Half fill the radiator to concentrate the chemical into the bottom of the radiators (cold spots). With the air above the water, movement will aid the magnetite to lift when agitated. ADEY training courses are available around the country in the following locations: Cheltenham, Blackburn, Co Durham, Bedford, Chichester and Okehampton. If you are interested in attending please email trainingacademy@adey.com. Thanks - Scott

HOW DO I ENROLL ON TO TRAING COURSE JUST PURCHASED EQUIPMENT

A good simple how to, but not sure how I'd apply that in the real world. Perhaps you can help? I own a Magnacleanse, but not yet used it on its own i.e. without a powerflushing pump. The question I have for you is how you can drain a system via the flexible hose when the connections are at a higher level than the base of radiators. It would seem that, in practice, you'd still have to drain at a low point to get all, or nearly all the water out. Let's face it: many, many, systems have radiators on several drops and some drops have no drain valves, so you are stuck with slackening off the compression nuts and catching water in a cat litter type tray to achieve full drainage. How essential is it to remove all the residual MC5? The fact that it is 'suitable for all systems' suggests it is non acidic, but does that mean a simple drain down is sufficient, even if there may be a few litres of water left in the system?

You will have drained the system first before connecting MagnaCleanse...after you have finished the whole process you will run a cold flush of the system 1 radiator at a time, I have a drain off valve on one of my hoses 👍🏻

what do you do to keep pump running when boiler has got to temperature and system won't circulate. is there a way of just keeping pump running

Open up a hot tap to dispense some of the heat from the boiler 👍
