Maxima is a good brand, i second it. I hoping to replace with green brake lines, still not sure if I want to do it myself.

Piston Slap Dealer quoted about $280 and i'm thinking nay or yay on it lol. My bike has 4000 miles on it so it still pretty good. I noticed in another video this person bleeded near the brake handle itself, is that true for the 636? he had an r1. More and more videos i've been watching, i'm finding more confidence to do them myself. Not much of a mechanic person but have done all work too my bike thus far with exahust, taillight, and HIDs.

There are bleeders on some bike near the "master cylinder" you would only need to bead that if you put a new cylinder on it or got air in the mater cylinder itself.

Hi! Thanks for the video, I'm starting to service my 636 myself. Question, how much did you approximately use? Should I buy 500ml or 1L for both front and rear brakes?

I really depends on you. If you flush a lot of fluid though you will need more. 500ml would be enough unless you go crazy.

Well explained. I thought that you wait until the fluid turned into soy sauce before you change it. Like a color indicator.

+azdesertdog Before I had to know all this stuff I would have agreed or just used it as a indication that its time for a new bike! But now with the prices of bikes going up I find it cheaper to keep them and service them, and care for them and hug them.....um yeah. Thanks for the comment!

I'm not sure. Do you have the abs model. If not it should be somewhat similar in design and should work.
