As a pen user and maker I have used the bulletproof black and it washes out just as easy. Bulletproof binds with an fibers including cloth and carpet. Do not spill it

That is just a really nice blue. Having it be permanent on paper is great. I suppose, though, that being easy to clean out of pens also depends on the pen material. I would guess some pens would be more likely to stain than others. Thanks for the video.

Bulletproof inks can be flushed out with Pen Flush if water alone will not get it out of a pen. Unless the pen is made of a cellulose resin, bulletproof binds chemical to cellulose.

Second on the pen flush recommendation. Demonstrators are tougher to keep 100% clear because they show the pen's every nook and cranny. After a thorough rinsing with water, fill and empty with a pen flush if you spot any staining or residue.

GTK, because I am searching for a reliable ink that won't feather or bleed through regular (cheap/thin) paper without complicating routine pen maintenance. Pigmented and iron gall have such properties, but add complications. Maybe x-feather is a good compromise.

Never use Iron-Gall ink in any fountain pen except the noodler's Boston Safety pen. Bulletproof chemical bind to cellulose fibers where iron gall when dry binds to about anything. X-Fether works ok even using broad nibs on cheep paper.

All fountain pen-safe archival inks can be cleaned out fully. The trick is to make sure to clean them frequently and not leave them in the pen for long stretches (like several months or years!).

I would resort to pen flush if you intend on putting a very lightly saturated ink (like a yellow or orange) in your pen after this blue ink. Also, a pen flush will help if you experience poor ink flow due to leftover residue.

It's certainly more on the saturated side. I would definitely recommend frequent cleanings of any pigmented or waterproof ink. Clean out the pen at least once after every fill up.
