How to fly a heli in DAYZ

When I tap W, S, A, or D.... The Heli will tilt that direction and continue as if I were holding the key. so i have to tap an opposing key to stop the rotation, and then I'll have to the original key to oppose the rotation the other way... it is a constant, tap forward, tap back, tap forward, tap back, etc etc etc just to try and maintain forward flight.

The Helis are so much easier to fly now too, same instructions, but you no longer have to go into first person to turn it on or off, or to enable or disable autopilot. Unless you get the bug where the instructions do not pop up, but then you just switch back and forth between 1st and 3rd person views and it pops up. I hope you are doing well, maybe I will see you back on BM2 eventually!

What mod in Workshop uses Auto pilot ? Is it a stand alone mod ? Can it be used with Red Falcon flight system ?

Is there a mod that would allow me to just use my HOTAS? Because the keyboard controls are absolutely freakin horrible. I don't think DayZ has native HOTAS support, because anytime i try to bind it to the expansion mod heli controls - nothing. It just behaves if i didn't have the flight stick at all. And i doubt that it's the HOTAS issue, because it works in every other sim i ever tried, Arma3 including.

Hi. Is there a way i can you my mouse to navigate? Im back from old Dayz Mod and hate the free view with my mouse. Would like to lock the Free View.
