Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I’m trying actually, absolutely new with AE, works fine, but I’m lost with stars, do I need to follow the stars tutorial to be able to save it as a preset? (I downloaded you files but they seems locked so I suppose this is it, just want to be certain I’ll be able to save it and use it in the full session) thank you.

Thank you, you don't need to follow the stars tutorial, the preset should be enough. Layers can be locked to prevent accidentally moving them, but you can just click the lock icon to unlock them if needed. If you're struggling though, drop me a line on my website's contact form shiveringcactus.net and if needed we can swap emails and project files.

I'm sorry, I'm really new with AE, just want to try your 3D tuto with my pictures... can't find star preset in my session, I tried the star tuto and get stuck again, stars stop to born afetr 5 sec... I'm going to try find why (hard when you don't know ae..), if I don't find maybe I'll text you... thank you again (and sorry for my english)

I think I just don't find how to convert it in a fx preset...

@@leboot highlight all the effects by holding CTRL and clicking each one, then go to Animation > Save animation preset

@@ShiveringCactus I mean, it's really up to you. I feel like if you really don't want to show your face due to bad equipment, you don't have to. It was just a funny thing that I thought because the thumbnail implied it. Maybe the thumbnail should be ever so slightly more clear that it's the person you're collabing wiht. All taken in good fun. When I started making tutorials, I realised I would double the work involved if I had to set up lights and a camera AND get through an introduction without making a mistake! So I created "S.C." instead and as an avatar I have some fun dressing him up.
