thanks for sharing. My mom had all the antique quilts passed down to her and she would unfold and refold every two months to avoid creases. Now I inherited a large pile of them and this will make it so much easier to avoid damage.

packing up a quilt art show, this was super handy! Don’t want creases and this results in a very compact finish, even for large and thick quilts. Thank you for your expertise!

Thank you! I never knew about the creases. My grandmother, who always sewed using a pedal sewing machine and by hand, had a stack of quilts she stored beside the chest of drawers. Never noticed the creases, but that could be because we were at Grandma's -the best place in the world. She passed in 1984 at the age of 93, but left a beautiful legacy in her quilts.
