It was a 2007 1.4 petrol. Im not entirely sure what you mean. The back box was rectangular with rounded edges?

I couldn’t tell you off the top of my head mate. I just rang the motor factors and they sent me one

I'm doing this today. but there is no clamp looks like I just got to cut the pipe.

They come out the factory with a solid pipe. So if your only replacing one section you have to measure twice cut once

@@EllsAutoCare looked at his mot it was only an advisory. so done a temp repair with gun gum till he has a bit more money spare.

Hello nice vid. I have same exhaust that broke right at the box, only trouble is it doesn’t have a joint to attach new back box, it’s like one whole pipe. Do you need to cut them to put new back box on it?

Yeah, so line it up so you know where to cut it. Obviously you have to cut it so there’s enough pipe to slide in the new back box. Once you know where to cut it cut it and then just put the new back box on

This was because a broken exhaust Iv obviously not seen your car so don’t know what’s wrong with yours
