Thanks for the conduit bending tips extremely helpful for helping me pass my am2s. Would be great if you guys could do some more videos on 20mm plastic conduit. I had to do a 90 into a double set
@solidus7843 жыл бұрын
If you just double rise for a 30 degree offset that will be the second mark and you can do it in one go and not have to take the pipe out of the machine. Eg. your 50mm rise would be 100mm between the marks.

I had do this with a 23mm drop and really stuggled, great video though could do it with a less drop so I can see how I need to do it please?

Use a spirit level on your phone to get the same angle to get the parallel set accurate. They do work and the apps are free

If possible be nice to see how ppl tackle high offset bends within the middle of the tube having to use the bottom side of the former 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙂

How else can you measure and mark if on site you haven’t a table to use!?
@CGill40 Жыл бұрын
How are you guessing what 30 degrees is? I’m sitting my AM2 soon and have been told I can’t use an inclinometer. I won’t just be able to bend the pipe and know that I am looking at a bang on 30 degree angle which means the conduit isn’t going to meet with the box fixed on the wall.

What a double, double set called, (if so) so straight with two double set , at different distances, 50 and 90mm.

It would be great to see an example where you have to go over 2x2 galv trunking, but not in a bubble. This method, but the American term, 4 point. 👍

Why exactly is changing the first bend so wrong? If say you’re bending a 3m length with just 150mm on the other side of the set it would be physically much easier to just adjust the smaller end
@UberAlphaSirus3 жыл бұрын
Because your set would change.
@SUNofNY11 ай бұрын
Because we know the first was the desired 30deg. Maybe you have to do two or more and you want them to match to look good.

When working on a building site you don’t always have tables So you either do it by eye or ode another bit of conduit on ground This pair would never last on site work

Why Americans are so much better in bending conduits than british. Any chance you can explain the difference in the systems and can we use the american benders. As the british way is total pain with this heavy useless benders. British way is do the bend and hope and pray it looks good.

You’d earn no money taking that long to do a double set,don’t cut it to short,do that after the set is complete,good for novices though 👍
