Thanks for making the video....I came to this page needing such a video. However your descriptions could be more ....um descriptive. Instead of "that goes like this", describe the orientation and looks of what you are manipulating and name the items you are describing. Just a suggestion for future videos.

My camera does not format the card properly, because when you format a folder called DCIM appears. It doesn't appear in mine. That's why I can't load the firmware either. I want my camera back because I only used it once.

My new Akaso V50 Pro has a different screen layout to yours. The two arrows are at the bottom and don't have a settings icon.

@@MopokesAdventures I kept pressing buttons until I found something that looks vaguely like that screen. Must be different firmware, but I found those buttons in a different arrangement. Try swiping the screen in different places.

Yep, have figured it out . You can either tap or swipe the two bottom arrows to take you to two separate screens. Instructions are useless.

I use 2 video editing software programs. My favorite is Adobe Premiere elements. It's affordable and does pretty much everything I need: amzn.to/2YeDQgy The second is pinnacle studio ulitmate 22. Its pretty much the same but it also handles file types that premiere won't like 4k 60pfs files: amzn.to/2x9cxIs Hope this helps. thanks for watching!

H.265 is a High Efficiency Video Codec. It's a different standard. What I do is convert the video to H.264 to play it. You can convert files using a free software such as airmore.com/download or some similar software. Hope this helps and thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Johnny, i'm having some issues with the videos transferred to my phone from Akaso V50pro. It shows grey background with exclamation mark on each videos. Is there any way to fix it? I'm using Note 9 and S10+. Both of these devices have the some issues.

Sorry Patrick. I have not tried with those phones. You've got some nice phones. I would first try to use the card itself if there is a micro sd card slot on your phones. Otherwise, I would try wifi.

I've had no problems with the Sandisk Ultra PLUS 128 GB card. I am going to try the Samsung EVO Select 128 but expect no issues. I'll post if I run into any issues.

Yes it will. If the card is not new, make sure to make a copy of your data before you format the card.

According to the description on Amazon it says: the Samsung 128GB EVO Select is enough memory for up to 6 hours of 4K UHD video, 20 hours of Full HD video, 37,600 photos, or 19,400 songs. But I have never tested the max capacity myself. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi Balatuba King, I received a response from Akaso and they don't suggest doing any firmware update unless you are having problems. Here is their response: "Hi John, Thanks for contacting AKASO Support. Normally we don't suggest our customer updating by themselves if there is no problem with the camera. Some of our customers made the mistake during the update, that resulted in the camera not working. But if your subscribers have any questions, feel free to let them contact us. We will try our best to propose the best solution for them." Hope this helps!

Hi Storm, I did some research on this and according to the manual on page 6 it says it can be normal for it to get hot. "When capturing video at high resolutions or high frame rates in warm ambient temperatures, the camera may become warm and use more power"

I use the sandisk ultra plus 128 gig. Keep in mind there are many variations. I imaging the extreme plus would work but to be sure, I use the ultra plus. I bought it at a best buy near me.

Ivan, I had the same problem. I got this camera yesterday. I had a new San Disk 32 GB micro SDHC card in the camera and got the same results. I happen to have a new San Disk Ultra Plus 16 GB micro SDHC card and installed it in the camera and it works perfectly now. On the packaging it also says "speed up to 80 MB/s
