I have a newer Samsung QLED and it does not support fat32, supports fat, exFat and NTFS. If you plug in a fat32 formatted drive the tv will crash and shut down. Samsung's website confirms this info.

I have a IView PCR box that is connected to my HDTV. I don't know if it is faulty or the USB drive I am using to record TV shows is, but there are many drop outs during the playback of the shows. Would it be good to format the flash drive in NTFS to record TV shows? would it cut down on drop outs?

Every flash drive formatting utility pretty much can format your USB drive to FAT32 which is universally supported by almost all TVs that accept USB Drive.

I format via pc make 3 folders Music movies picture the I copy my m día to corresponding folder plug to TCL tv open 2:35 vlc or nova and streaming away
