@Lucas Meyer Cosmetics so siligel can also thicken oil phase to make an anhydrous product? i.e. just don't add the water phase?

I yried siligel and it leaves white/opaque coloring that has to be vigourously rubbed in to absorb. Do you know why? Did I maybe not mix it enough?

does silicgel contain silica? I can't find a single supplier in Australia selling siligel without silica.

I think it's potentially better than Lecigel because it's natural and it supports electrolytes

Hi Nia, Both products are actually as good as one another. Siligel™ does have a better resistance to electrolytes (compared to Lecigel™) but however, they both have their own particularities and will enable to create a wide range of textures for different applications with various sensory feelings. @@lucasmeyercosmetics1000 I have both now, love them, lecigel is great because it can cope with 60% electrolytes (aloe vera) and siligel has emulsified as well as thickened 20% oil phase for me using only 1%. I was wondering if either can be used to thicken an anhydrous formula please?
