Hi Belinda! Love your content. Could you please do a video on stabilizing natural pigments (reds, purples oranges) in water-based formulations. While natural pigments from beets and berries a very soluble, they are not stable and fade rather quickly. How can this be counteracted? Thank you again for high quality content!

You will need to use the Sensient Natpure XFine range to obtain long lasting colour; a lot of other natural sources don’t maintain their colour, and that can’t be ‘fixed’. It’s the source of the colourant, and the supplier, that determines its longevity. Thank you! I would like to ask one thing: while making emulsions, are stabilisers normally unnecessary? What other "supporting" ingredients are most common? How about peptides in purely water-based formulas, do they need stabilising? Sorry for this "low-level" question. I am just getting into formulating.
