Ihave been diving since 1997 and you dont have to spit in mask before your trip clean mask with toothpaste then before you get wet use a little spray bottle with 50\50 mix of baby shampoo and water it works for me and my wife

Thanks for sharing you video. I only disagree with one thing and that is using your arms to pull with more than kicking. I find that it uses less oxygen to kick with a good pair of fins than to pull with your arms. Maybe we are just different in that way.

another way to try equalize is just open your jaw with your lips still together. some people don't need to equalize all together though, as their body will do it automatically
