I've been freestlye for a bit now, and I often try to find as many synonyms as I can for words, that way I can rap and flow about the same topic for several minutes, and the synonyms make it easier to construct bars without repetition

Thank you so much, man. This was super helpful. I'm not afraid of public speaking so much, but I want to rap and record tracks and part of being a good rapper is freestyling, but I was so terrified of trying and messing up that I would choke whenever I turned on a beat and I couldn't say anything. I might sputter out a line but then I couldn't do anything. I was so anxious I felt like crying, it was really bad. But after your tutorial, I got in a room where nobody could see me and turned on a beat and just started talking to the rhythm about stuff going on in my life (even that took some courage lol) and it was like a switch was flipped. It was messy and not the kind of stuff I'd go record in the studio but I felt really good about doing it at all and I was able to laugh at my mess-ups, rather than feeling choked by them. I feel like I could actually do this. So, so, so many thanks to you man. It's insane how helpful this was.
