Thank you for this excellent KZbin. I have a Kenmore / Electrolux exactly like the one in the KZbin. My problem was that the dryer runs for a while but stops abruptly with the four lights on the far right flashing. I replaced the control board with one I bought locally following this KZbin. As ladyluckdrums commented below, now you just get the bare circuit board and you have to reuse the old Control Board housing. Fortunately this was easy - the housing snaps apart and you swap the circuit board, and as ladyluckdrums also mentioned, the instruction sheet that came with the part is bad; the verbiage is confusing and the photos are indistiguishable. The only difficulty I had was that the two knobs were extremely difficult to get off. The knobs on my dryer were quite different from the KZbin, but otherwise the panel was exactly the same. What I did was pull the Control Board away from the Control Panel, which left the knobs embedded on the Control Panel. To finally get them off, I had to squeeze the part that protrudes through the hole with needle nose pliers. My dryer now works like brand new, and it ever has a quieter, smoother hum.

Thank for you for the clear and concise video. The part I ordered from AppliancePartsPros did not come with the housing as pictured on the website, just the electrical panel. It added a few steps not in this video but some rational thinking got me through (the additional instructions with the part were completely inaccurate). So, with this video and some "figuring" I got it changed and it works. Thanks!

Same here. All I got was a computer board. I'm guessing I'll have to open that up and remove the old board. Right?

Yes, the housing openings. I took pictures so I could reassemble the correct way. It was easy

Yes @@ladyluckdrumsit looks easy enough... You can see which receptacles stick through each hole. My guess w/ a flathead it should pop open when compressing tabs...

Yes, screw driver opened the tabs. I tried to not disturb the buttons as I removed the board. I worried about the dial/selector being lined up correctly. But it was smart enough to know where the dial was set.

Thank you so much sir. This is exactly my model and you help me a great deal. Before buying a new board I have to find out why my dryer beep and the start light flash by itself when not in use. I press on cancel and it stop beeping, maybe 20 min later it does the same thing again. Very weird.

thanks - I was able to replace mine. the new part was slightly different but enough so that I could replace it and it works. yay!

I have a Whirlpool Duet dryer serial number GEW9250PW1 none of the lights on the front panel are working. If I open the dryer door I do have a light inside the dryer but none on the control panel. Please help. Thanks

We have an Electrolux 134557200 Control Board for our Frigidaire upright dryer. On the replacement panel, when we put the post in that the knob goes into, it won't turn. It's like it is frozen. Is this a faulty part?
