I like my bacon done in the oven. I put it on a broiler rack and sprinkle lightly with granulated maple sugar. ( brown sugar will work , too)Ten minutes to a side at 350 degrees. Delicious and all the fat drained away from the bacon into the broiler pan so no need for paper towels.

OldManCookin Thank You! You gave me 2 good ideas, thick cuts and cooking it slow. I used to cook high heat or medium heat but my bacons always shrink, otherwise they aren't crispy. Reason why I'm applying heat much was I'm afraid the longer time bacons are on the pan, the more they'll shrink. Now I know they won't. Tried this afternoon on 2.5 dial (~low/medium) and they turned great. Still curved a bit but that's because of the thin cuts. Love bacon! More power to you sir!
