I watched several videos on how to cook plantains before trying to cook mine. Yours was the first that suggested salting them so I tried it both ways. Your version, salting them first, brought out the flavor and they tasted much better. Thank you! P.S. My 82 year old mother got the giggles when she heard you say to wait to let them cool or you will burn your mouth because that's exactly what she was trying to do..eat them up too fast! 😊 Thanks for the great video
