If you are worried about an airbag exploding in your face then just disconnect the battery

And wait at least 20-30 minutes. They have the ability to go off even if your battery is disconnected in the event that the battery gets destroyed in an accident so it can still protect you.

Why would you need to find new pieces if you’re just going to wrap them? You could just wrap the ones your already have and you’d never know the difference, no?
