For reference letters for PhD is it mandatory to take one reference from masters college or all 3 references from bachelors college will also do ? Actually ,My masters thesis guide is no more available in my college and has retired So, she cant give me reference letters anymore. I have though published papers in my bachelor's college and also working with a professor right now in my bachelor's college. Can I give all my referees from my bachelors college or one should be from my masters college? I am currently working in TCS passed out my masters in 2022.

Hello sir, I completed my Ph.D. from a state university in 3 and a half years and we all know that a state university does not have much research exposure and the duration when my thesis was under review, I joined as a Project Associate in a very prestigious research lab. Now, I have my Ph.D degree and still working as a PA, however, I am searching for a good enough teaching faculty position, though I have an equal interest in research also. Will this duration be counted anywhere or this research experience as a P.A. will not be counted? I just think it's better to work at a decent salary (SRF) instead of wasting the time and also I though that it would be like add-on to my profile. However, I am trying but I think it is better to work instead of sitting at home for trying here and there, am I correct here? Please comment, as I am continuously being taunted for working in a SRF salary though I just competed my Ph.D.

Hi Ankita There's no harm in working as SRF and gaining some research experience rather than sitting idle. Since you didn't got much experience during your PhD it's fine to get that later on. You're doing good. Just keep upgrading after some time I mean try to apply as post doc after that

Sir i have 2 questions 1st : i got a project for 1 years tenure...after completing that project can i apply for phd in Abroad??? 2nd : the project is based on Electrochemistry ( Electrochemical Synthesis). Want to know is there a good future on Electrochemistry?

1. Yes you can apply showing your project as a research experience. 2. Synthesis of any type has future because people will keep synthesizing products everytime. Particularly electrochemistry synthesis is something which I am not quite aware about.
