Very nice and informative video. Could you create one more video for people who don't want to go the pvp route? Personally I go the pvp route and was always curious how people gear up without doing this. Got my pally to 80 three days ago. Bought the pvp tier set + wep+libram in netherstorm, 1 trinket + neck+ ring from Orgrimmar. This gave me enough ilvl to queue up for gamma dungeons. I like to do one extra step which is buy some cheap gems like bold bloodstone which is around 4-5g and gem up all the pvp gear. I don't enchant them though. I have not gotten kicked from any gamma dungeons so far and I'm slowly replacing the pvp gear with pve gear with triumph emblems and defiler scourgestone. Reason I like to gem the pvp gear is because people have a habbit of inspecting other people in group. So rather than seeing pvp gear with 0 gems I feel having the gems creates a more of a positive image and that could be the difference between a vote kick

Another tip: make your own VOA , and do multiple bosses from previous phases, drops 238, 251, 270 from 3 bosses in VOA.

You get kicked in gammas often when you are still low gs or with pvp gear. People just care about numbers and if your dealing dps which in most cases favours classes who have a lot of AOE dmg. I was struggling a lot in the beginning with my rogue since they are very gear dependant and have less aoe dmg.

I did this on my rogue and had no issues, mostly pvp gear completed dungeons, didn't get kicked, farmed scourge stones and replaced pvp gear with pve gear

I boosted a new holy pally, spent only like 6k on buying cheap boes on the AH and then did toc 10 and 25 normal, bought a few pvp pieces be spending stone keepers shards on other toons and did a couple gammas and i was 5.2k gs the first day. It's so easy to gear up fresh toons rn. A bit harder to gear up fresh tanks.

I've had 3k and under tanks try and do FOS heroic with a 5 to 6k gs healer and maybe get to the second mob.

While this is a decent idea for dps and possibly healers I would not suggest this for tanks I’m not much of a pvper myself but I’m almost positive the bonus stats in green are different compared to pve. Understand your line of thinking though as far as item level boost but at the end of the day if your stats aren’t right for dungeon encounters then it’s possible your gonna get cremed, I’m possiblly wrong which is highly possible I’d have to look into myself, I just remember some groups and past experiences that wearing pvp gear in a pve encounter was extremely frowned upon

Actually not true, as you can get crit immunity from resiliance as well. So it counts to your def cap. I would even say its worst way to gear for healers, as the healing requirements in Gamma Dungeons are not that ow.

It is this thought process of using bad gear that has a high eye level that is making it a waste of time to do gammas for other people. Imagine you’re a DPS waited in queue for 20 minutes only to not be able to complete a dungeon, because some lab came in with a fake efficiency of gear score.
