Just for reference, the Dodge Training S4 is used for Zandi Blades to keep infinite uptime on the Chase Bolt situation for when there's not always a chance to dodge attacks. On the other two styles, it would be meh to useless, but with Zandi, it serves the purpose of activating the Photon Cluster.

Out of curiosity.. why do you use Grand Might and Might VI on your Gunblades? Do Lusters not scale with R-ATK exclusively? This is actually a question I've had for a bit, as I'm about to start affixing myself.. Ranged vs. Melee Power for a Luster? Or, does it differ based on the style, and is thus a weapon-by-weapon basis? For example, I'd heard Lusters scale entirely with R-ATK, but it seems to me that Fomel style in particular would be scaling with S-ATK.. I can't seem to find an answer on this.

Lusters have a skill for the Gunblade that allows for scaling on either Melee OR Ranged. They also have a skill that acts like Hero Mag skill where they can use any mag towards their damage. However, Luster as a whole for their units scale entirely on Ranged. The example you see is just me transferring a weapon from Etoile into Gunblade for Luster.

Do you know if the passive that selects the higher of S/R-ATK counts the base damage types of the weapon, or only Augments? If it counts the base damage of the weapon also.. Gunblades having more S-ATK than R-ATK innately would mean it only makes sense to aug for S-ATK. (As the difference between those two numbers rises to 98+ starting with Rivalate weapons.) If it's Augments only, though, then it's fair game I suppose.

Hmm. I think s4: amplified adept sounds pretty wild on zandi/baron with the s1 ability that applies jellen at a 25% rate. Luster is essentially a multi hit class, one of those hits are eventually going to proc.

I have been using a light element Atlus EX+35 with S4 Soul Steal Strike, in the augment, on my luster class. Been playing about two months almost so I am pretty new. But I feel like i can start tooling as an attack support, as I also have Heal Sharing on a ring. That ring needs work, though.

8 slot unit affixes are for the super rich. Granted what you had is best in slot but the prices are outrages especially for vet resolve.

(im going with S4 photon adaption atm) S4 for dodge wouldnt be so bad for phantom way better than 250k dmg/14s every dodge counter shoot deals more dmg you dont need crit rate on phantom that much you will easily get to 100% with the S5 and the ring L-Ring is lock on bomb unit rings are mostly the same for every scion-class mag excitment, leaping dodge, atomizer fanatic, party thoughnes, depending how you play you can use dodge shift pa ring... SGA for units is S6 guardian, S7 fortivied ATK 2 and sky dance support for S8 ... unit augments like in the video grand X what you want im going with grand stamina

@@hp-bq2sb late to the party, but yes, if the gunblade has more melee (and most do) you should go for that. Most people that I see have been giving their gunblades range power affixes and as a result they're missing out on roughly 100 attack since they tend to be quite a bit stronger for melee power. EDIT****** Had the chance to test it for myself, and I was wrong. Whenever I looked into the skill the advice has always been to go melee because it takes advantage of the higher stat, but after testing 2 different attack type builds on the same gunslash, they do identical damage. The skill only affects augment numbers, not weapon base stats.

I'd guess it still would since it's simply for the critical damage of melee attacks. The reason he uses "Perfectionist" instead is because with Slash Rise (and Slash Fall as well when you're level 70) unlocked, you can cast Megiverse should you be at around 75% or lower health. The Megiverse pretty much makes your attacks insta-heal you (unless you're fighting against Phaleg) back to full health so as such the Perfectionist ring is in a way more reliable for the damage boost

(technically every shifta or deband you do will do the best version of the stuff you getting, so if you are a fo or a phantom you could apply it yourself after the techer buff you to extend the duration

For Barak style any augments that give melee PWR i find is useless, mainly cos Barak style is Range Especially if you're only using baran as you're only style like me. Also I thought luster can't use any tech P.A's so how can you benefict from Skydance

All styles use Range. None actually use Melee. It's just the skill that converts Melee on Gunblade to Range. Skydance Boon gives Shift/Deband regardless of if you can use the tech or not.
