Crazy. I did my nails and was done but was thinking the lamp wasn't a good one because they were still sticky. Found your video with the exact same lamp and nail color that I used and learned the alcohol step!!! Yaaaaaa thank you.

Babe, when the gel has that sticky layer at the end usually using alcohol makes the polish matte , use - NAS.99 , thats the right thing to use to remove that sticky part! ♥️

How I do it, I lay my non dominant hand like this >🖐🏽 on a surface or your knee. I paint from the tip of the nail going up. And when I reach close to the cuticles. I stop, push the brush up and it’ll stop (kinda automatically) near the cuticles and then pull down. And for the sides I tilt my fingers rather than the brush, keep the brush straight. Idk if my explanation was clear but I hope it help someone 😂.

Y’all, I paid $50 to get gel on my natural nails and it’s chipping after 5 days. I got them to only apply the white polish to my tips which gives a French look. I’m going to do my own because this is insane.

Love your video. I found it very informative. I had a hard time getting the Polish off after I did my nails even resorting to using the drill. Do you think warming the acetone would makes it easier to remove?

Definitely, I now warm some water up then place another bowl on top with the acetone and it come off much faster. Also buffing the polish before placing it in the acetone helps as well.

Hello! I have a quick question I sometimes do my nails at home with the lamp But sometimes when i cure the polish, the tips of my fingers burn, is that normal? Am i the only one? Or is the voltage too high on the lamp?

Hey!! It has happened to me, it is normal, that happens because our skin is a little more delicate than normal, what I do so that it does not happen is that I cure my nails with the lamp but without inserting them into the lamp, only on the outside that uv light reaches my nails, after 15 or 20 seconds I cure it as I normally would, inserting my hand into the lamp, I hope it works for you!

It's just a heat spike. Take your hand out gently then put back in the lamp. Some lamps also have a lower heat option button. Takes a few extra seconds to cure but will be a little less intense.

Yeah you should always use the same brand too and base coat as the color coats. They have to work as a system or else you get wrinkles, bubbles, etc.

You can to make the process faster, i personally don’t because the warm water with the acetone helps it come off easy.

I just started using lint free wipes and love them and i never tried acetone before, not sure how it would work.

Avoid acetone because it breaks the gel down. You just need rubbing alcohol.

The gel polish is probably not curing while you put it under the lamp, try leaving it long and doing thinner coats

Early peeling and chipping are usually because your coats are too thick, you haven't prepped the nail properly or haven't capped the free edge.

Are you sure your polishes are actually gel. If your bottle is see through it's not gel and won't cure in a lamp.
