I totally agree with people always talking about diminishing marginal returns. It is frustrating since Attack, DMG, and Crit all have constant returns to scale as shown by the multidimensional cube. A diversified investment would give a higher product and we can attribute it to opportunity cost. I don't know how to express that they are not diminishing returns though.

The term would be "opportunity cost" I would say, as you arent gaining as much say as investing somewhere else. Like though it is "technically" diminishing returns, its more so a high opportunity cost. Iff ppl said that, I wouldn't mald as much lol

@@yun3_ The biggest mindset change for me is if you are offered 10% Attack boost even if you already have 200% Attack boost you should take it. Only when offered another option like 10% Attack or 10% Crit Damage do you need to consider opportunity cost. Helps me cope when I put on a relic with 3 Attack % substats.

@@ChucklinHSR though i love my cr/dmg stats, I dont mind ATK at all. Using my rly good herta build and rank 1 just for context, if I were to get another substat, cdmg would increase my dmg by 2.11%, CR 1.89%, and atk 1.41%. Not bad at all

@@yun3_ that’s really cool. Currently my heuristic is that the substat increases damage output as follows. Attack: 1.5% Speed: 1.7% Crit rate/dmg: 2.0%. It is volatile depending on units or builds but that’s what heuristics do.
