The one thing I would warn against is the little detail people forget …. Given that 99.9% of reaching customers and followers requires “paid” advertising, people really should be focused on making sure page likes are not just made up of people wanting to be entertained rather than likely to buy. These days it costs a great deal of money to reach even a small number of pages “own followers” so anyone looking to grow likes should be mindful of this

From personal experience, lead generation works very well for high ticket deals. Get their contact numbers and try to close them on a call.

Ben, I wanted to thank you for the advice. I set up two ads yesterday morning, and I have 650 followers at about $0.02 a follower, and it's still going. I could get to 10,000 followers in 10 days. Thanks :) Some accounts are able to use it and some are not - don't know why. I'd try leaving it blank - or entering in the continents instead.

I suppose this is down to WHAT kind of construction your in, for instance if this you do basement conversions in residential properties then a hybrid mix of both works.... remember that people search on Google for Ideas so having your organic strategy nailed is 100% a given, paid ad's on Google support that, additional to your paid activities I would ad in KZbin video ads of your work and edited consumer testimonials (works a treat) and YT CPC is by far the cheapest place to serve you video ads''. Then bring in paid social for both lead gen and then re-marketing - that little strategy is GOLD and will give you a healthy level of enquiries - its then over to you to qoute pitch and close...

Thanks :) That depends on your goal. Are you liking to get followers to help establish credibility or do you want these people to join a Facebook Group, potentially become customers, etc.?

100% what Ben says here, I mean my question is - as a business is your target audience worldwide, do you ship and deliver worldwide if not then tighten up the geographic profiling.... there is no point in going to wide if it does not suit you overall business objectives - if your only ACTIVE in the Netherlands - unless you have logistics inlace to deliver globally GO LOCAL and NATIVE. You will save yourself some money and have a far greater chance of success....

Sure, it depends what you are looking to do. If you want leads go for leads, if you want sales go for sales. If you want to build a presence on the platform then use this option. (I think building a presence initially helps everything else over the long run.)

Sure you can do this with a brand new Facebook Page. In fact we use this most often with new Facebook Pages. And my page didn't have a large following before I used this technique.

Here is my problem with this, and prove me wrong. I understand that this is not for organic reach, it's completely for vanity, credibility, etc. The problem is, we are now using lookalike audiences that are based on people who engaged with our PAGE. This is something you recommended Ben. And in fact, these audiences work really great. So if I start a campaign like this, with no targeting, there will be a lot of irrelevant people engage with my page, and that will mess up my lookalike audiences.

Hello! There are some valuable potential followers that will never follow a page with only 32 followers. What Ben said is that with a wide audience, you can build a couple of 1000 followers at a very low cost, just for the credibility of it. Then it will be much more easier to spend to get detailed-targeted audience. That is what I got from this video and i subscribe to the idea.
