Pete has a previous history of playing sports at a high level in particular cricket and is struggling for consistency in his golf - especially with the driver. We facilitated a learning environment for Pete to discover what forces might be required from the longest club in the bag.

Top notch, the key that resonated was the golfer felt he had more time to complete his swing... the only time I’ve felt that is doing a step drill... BINGO, understand now how that correlates . I love the absence of rigid golf theory ( good choice of word ?) and just freeing up our body’s natural coordination. BOOM!!💥

Marcus please stop these KZbin lessons . I am afraid my mates will find you . In lock down in Ireland no golf. When we get back to golf my mates wont know what hit them . After a fairly long life in golf i am at last getting it thanks to you. The feel of a free golf swing is such a pleasure. You are giving people pure joy. Just hoping the lads do not find you.

Thanks, all opinions are welcome and valid. If you look back through my channel and also Robin's channel where some of my even earlier lesson videos are, you'll see a consistent theme running throughout and applications that go way back before this current trend in using pressure/force plates started. I've been using and researching the golf swing on these for 12 years. Even helping to develop 3D and force plate systems so it's nothing new in scientific study but relatively new in the golf coaching world 👍

Playing and practicing are two different things. Try all kinds of shots when you practice
@GRFGolf
@GRFGolf 3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with trying all shots. I think we're always playing a golf shot just in a different environment. The moment we differentiate play and practice is the moment we introduce the unnecessary challenge in our minds of transfer of practice. Playful adaptation is the way I would frame it so then it's down to imagination and exploration of movement.
