I'm on day 18 with over 300 subs and 1000s of views!!!
@BackToTheBoomBap6 ай бұрын
This is so good guys! So tactical. Since shorts were discussed so much, I wonder what percentage of the 100 million views a month is from shorts and how many views is from long form. My guess would be shorts out perform the longs, but either way that would be something I'd wanna know just to give me an idea for content strategy.
@KimRobbins3 ай бұрын
Now that shorts have gone to 3 minutes I wonder what his input would be regarding that. I've watched your updates on this but it would be interesting to see what kind of changes he makes to their approach on Ramsey's shorts.

I love the thoughts around subscribers being being a vanity metric. It really doesn’t matter how many subs you have if none of them are interacting or actually watching the content. Definitely something to think about….🤔

I listened to this podcast on audio at the gym this morning. I literally came on KZbin to find it and leave a comment on what AMAZING VALUE this interview delivers. I learned so so much and greatly appreciate this information. I will definitely be listening again and taking notes (notes not viable at the gym) Seriously, awesome content - as always. As a new KZbinr, I can't imagine being without Think Media.

I'm going to need to watch this twice and take notes. I've been struggling to figure out how to integrate shorts, and have seen some of the same issues with momentum you mentioned around 16:30 or so. Lot of good stuff here, title doesn't lie.

As a regular Ramsey viewer, I can say that these strategies are working. I love that I can click a link to the full video from the short--so many channels don't take advantage of this option and lose me as a viewer. Even though I'm interested in the topic, I don't have time to search around their channel for the full video. I'm a big fan of the clips as well--5-7 minutes is good for a break, but I don't usually have time to listen/watch an hour plus video. This was great, Sean! I learned a lot.

Shorts Strat: •Shorts are strictly made out of top performing videos •Publish two highlight videos per day •Only create shorts out of high performing videos •Link to top performing videos of that short •Make sure swipe rate is 70% or more •HACK: First 1-3 seconds should be the best of the best •CTA: direct people to the full length video ((but HOW?!😅))
@CookingwithRegina6 ай бұрын
You’ll wanna link it to “Related Video” (it gives you that option when creating the short)
@BackToTheBoomBap6 ай бұрын
Also, I'm wondering about when he says full length video does he mean the full length highlight video. Because you're asking a lot of a viewer to try to get them to watch an hour long video after they just watched a 60 second short.

The trend is your friend! On my channel, I produce a lot of DIY remodeling, and high-profile engineering failure videos, but I also used my investigative skills on several videos covering the Donald Trump shooting. 3 of my videos have gotten over 2 million views, and I have gained 50,000 new subscribers in the last 2 weeks with these 9 videos due to the hot trending desire for more info on the Trump shooting. I now have 540,000 subs on KZbin.

I posted 6 shorts a day for a month. Even for just reactionary/joke content remixing other shorts, it was non-stop. I lowered it to three now, but trying to do alot more editing and stuff like that. A VERY steep learning curve, but I'm definitely not bored. (And also not having a problem loosing weight lol) I see it as a great opportunity to learn content creation as a whole. Hugely valuable interview, lots of golden nuggets! The thing that stuck with me after watching is simple: Just like rowing a boat, make sure that all of your work is "rowing" in the same direction. Have your shorts work FOR your long form content and vice versa, have your processes and strategies work for one another, etc. I feel like after watching this video, I have a very good understanding of what my strategy will be moving forward and all of the gaps that I have to work on. 10/10, keep up the great work Think Media!

Notes on all of your videos every single day for the last week or so and then copy them and pasting them into check gbt to break them down into sections with bullet points so I can review them later and apply them to my own growing channel. Hey brother I'm so encouraged a lot of stuff you guys are saying is stuff where I'm like wait a minute I'm actually exactly here in terms of many things like even where I'm at with subscribers with my content with my community the engagement all of these things I'm like I'm right there so I'm so encouraged knowing that I'm just potentially a video or a day or a collaboration away from major breakthrough. I'm so encouraged and I am trying to leave my regular 9:00 to 5:00 and do this full-time KZbin channel and so I am greatly encouraged. Having a background in Psychology and a degree in social work this stuff naturally interests me exceedingly great. I'm so appreciative for your channel brother I appreciate all the hard work you do and the spirit in which you do it. Jesus bless you and your family and your two little babies

Going faceless is recently working really great on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I am also using a little bit of Famester, but I think that is a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos small initial boost, and that caused them to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.
