i came across these kinda channels a year ago. Creator named Megamanny was probably the first one to make these kinda videos (later stevee, spectator, alexa real came to competition). He knew that gaming videos are always longer (8min+) and there is absolutely very little competition on short (not yt shorts) gaming videos. Tbh people will be ready to watch anything which is under 1 min and the thumbnail which triggers their anxiety.

If you want to make short videos about any other topic, shorts are probably the way to go unless they are all memes or of you just want to create a different genre!

@@Versact Umm yeah I would suggest to make 1920x1080 short video becoz ur yt shorts subscribers wont watch ur longer videos/short video becoz yt shorts usually (rarely) dont come up on recommended. And also yt shorts pay very less compared to landscape videos. And don't forget to use vidiq tool to optimize ur video with suitable tags (people say its useless but somewhere it plays an important role).

Thanks for creating this content, I started my travel channel 5 weeks ago. It wasn't a very planned decision as from the moment I decided to shoot and post my first video, this all happened within 3 weeks. 105 sub and 5k views for the first video, although it might not be a lot but still 2-3 times more than I was even expecting. Hey there! Had a similar story with my channel in terms of fast growth (2.8k in the first month). Also Minecraft, but I did it with shorts. The bad thing is, that I switched to longer videos and really try to make an effort to get them as cinematic, high quality and engaging as possible but without any success. Kinda think I killed my channel in it's infancy. Or I am just impatient. Let's hope it is just the second.

*Work smarter, not harder.* Find a niche that is *less saturated* but has a high demand. Don't compete with the big dogs of KZbin as they are already dominating their market. Find something that you're good at but don't see many channels about and *take advantage* of that! 💪🏻

Strategy 8 @8:34 is particularly interesting. I used to try to do a mid-video call to action and have stopped for the most part because it just did not feel like it fit with my content. I am trying to teach software and decided just to give people the lesson they need when they need it and the rest will come with time. Now I have the CTA at the very end and see the same amount of likes as before. To be fair I am at the very beginning of the KZbin journey so this is an opinion and not empirical evidence.

Sadly these are just empty words, nothing serious. :( If youtube doesnt want to recommend your channel, you can do nothing. For example, i Uploaded a short video about play sounds to your dog. 2 days, nothing happened, then, on the 3. day, get 9500 views and 466 likes in ONE hour. And after that, youtube stopped recommending my video, so no more views since then. You literally nothing can do.
