Some countries do not accept dual citizenship and require you to renounce the previous ones, other countries make you pick one citizenship if you were born as a dual citizen once you turn 18 or 21, so it might become quite tricky to do everything in the right order. Maybe you want to do a video that includes a real life example that features these limitations.

Nomad Capitalist Germany does not allow dual let alone multiple citizenships. To obtain German citizenship you need to bring a proof that you gave up your citizenship.

Branchi A lot of countries don’t allow it But they can’t do anything about you holding another citizenship. Perhaps cancel your citizenship to their country, but that’s if you let them know that you haven’t renounced your citizenship for the second country. My country of birth does not allow dual citizenship but I personally know a few of my countrymen who hold, UK, US and Canadian and another holds UK & German simultaneously as well as my country of birth - no government can renounce a foreign citizenship - so while it’s a grey area.. you can still do it

@Branchi Germany doesn't ask for actual proof of renunciation to your previous nationalities. I know people that naturalized German and kept their British and Mexican citizenships.

The area that Venezuela claims from Guyana is actually over half of Guyana's territory, although it is only scarcely populated. There is certainly at least one hospital and a government office to register the birth in that area.

I was born in Austria but my mum is from Hungary, until the age of 18 I had 2 Passports, than I had to choose between the two and I choose Austria. Is there a way so that I can apply for multiple passports in Europe and also outside ?

Born in The Netherlands (no right to citizenship) from American and Costa Rican parents, grew up in France, now living in Canada. Four isn't bad. Could claim Spanish due to being grandchild of Spaniard and could have claimed Irish as great-grandchild if my father had claimed his before my birth. I could have had six. Also, you didn't mention otay citizenship through marriage?

I have USA/Pakistan citizenships, Could have got UK as my 3rd but I Had to live there 4-5 year more, Which was not possible due Family reasons. My Broth has UK/Pakistan citizenships, my some cousin have Canada/UK/Pakistani citizenships. I had very good time while in UK. I been to around 40 countries & no where is perfect, every one has +\- Immigration is not easy process specially if one is settled & has good Business (also moving from one developed country to other developed like Uk to USA or USA to UK) , one has to start from Zero.

The strategy around minute 5: getting a job in "Germany or France" + subsequent naturalization won't work out in Germany: when naturalizing in Germany, Germany obliges you to give up all other citizenships you might hold (except EU+Switzerland). It's additionally possible to apply for an exception called "Einbürgerung unter Hinnahme von Mehrstaatigkeit" - but it's rarely granted, and most probably won't be granted when one already has quite a bunch of citizenships. In France this might work.

Almost correct: Germany allows dual citizenship from other countries outside EU, though they are exceptions (ex.: Brazil). After becoming German, yes, getting new citizenships is much more strict and basically you can only get EU + Swiss passports.

If you were born in the United States to two parents, one born in Mexico, one born in Spain, both of which came to the United States. After 15 years old, you were born with three citizenships from birth. And you have the ability to live and work in the entire European Union and most of North America.

It depends. Do your parents have ukrainian and russian citizenship? If not, i'm afraid there isn't much you can do. If i remember correctly there was a time limit after the USSR collapsed, where your parents should've applied for the RU/UKR citizenship. And Ukraine doesn't allow foreigner which seek to get ukrainian nationality dual nationality. I do not know about georgian nationality law. IF you really are jewish you could go to israel and "demand" for citizenship by return. In the worst case, you could be obliged to join the israeli army which is mandatory. (I don't remember how long it was, i think 2 years or something like that)

I never plan to get married or have kids, but if I did then I would want that kid to have multiple citizenships. I myself want to get French citizenship or maybe Italian citizenship, and if my husband would also be a dual citizen of two different countries (I'm from the United States) then our baby could be a quad-citizen or even a quint-citizen if I end up getting three citizenships. lol Forget dual citizenship, sept citizenship (7 citizenships) is what some people might have in a few generations if family bloodlines collect citizenships like Pokémon. lolololol

Why would you need 14 passports? I have one (well even that must be renewed) and it's plenty. Unfortunately since my country apparently is about to become facist, I'd rather check my options ahead. But having over a dozen? Could be an issue at the airport 😅😂

Article 10, of the chilean Constitution, states that if the parents are foreign legal residents then the child acquires chilean 'ius soli' citizenship; which is, by its very definition, a birth right citizenship. In any case, Chile has a restricted form of birth right citizenship, but birth right citizenship nonetheless. No necesito ser chileno para saberlo, ya que el conocimiento no distingue nacionalidades.
