well one way to look at a possible story for gen 1-3 legendary Pokemon being in Sinnoh is the idea that after the events of each gen all of them decided to temporarily take a vacation from their regions and decided to gather at Sinnoh to wind down.

The only good thing it does it half the damage you take from moves like Low Kick, which nobody runs, and Grass Knot, which will hardly get used on a steel type. At worst, it halves the damage you do from moves like Heavy Slam and doubles the damage you take from them. Maybe you think it is moderately useful, but Clear Body is a far better ability.

Not that I'm being too judgemental for people who want to shiny hunt the legendaries at ramanas park but... It's so much easier to shiny hunt them in other games. If you have the sword and shield dlc then the dynamax adventures is great. If you have a 3DS then gen 7 ultra wormhole soft resets will be so much easier since the shiny charm actually affects them. Or oras is great for soft resetting the legendaries though it's much harder to get the shiny charm in Oras.

Yea swsh and the ultra games are kinda op lol swsh basic odds are 1/300 if I remember that’s if you catch all four Pokémon witch that’s still big and in ultra the odds are so good u don’t even need the charm . Got three shiny legendarys just for going far in the ultra holes . These games kinda make it super hard charm doesn’t help plus you got to do the Pokédex witch you don’t haft to do in swsh or ultra .

A tip for kyogre is to burn it. Aqua ring will always heal first so you can false swipe it with no worries.

I've done a lot of digging myself and I've gotten way more mysterious shards in the underground underneath ramanas park than anywhere else. I've dug for hours everywhere else and it'll take me hours to get a few mysterious shards while if I dig underneath ramanas Park I get one every few minutes.

@@chaoticallygamely1687 no you don't have to be online but i'm pretty sure you do get better chances of digging up better items including mysterious shards if the diglet meter is full. So if you play online you can fill up the meter faster and get a better chance of getting shards.

Man, you're just killing it with all this content. Quick question for ya, but is there a way to find out odds for different items in the Underground? I'm curious and would love to know! Edit: Nice team by the way! I'm going for an Electivire on my Diamond playthrough.

there IS a loot table that lists all 6 regions and some items being more common in some regions of the underground, but my personal findings find it to be inaccurate - so it might only be 'boosted' odds. (meaning the game says "0" for bulbasaur being in thhe South West and "5" for being in the South East. But i got a bulbasaur in the South West.) Statue pulls are 100% random. the type of box that generates and what is pulled from it. Platnium pokemon are avilable before the national dex and the other mons are avilable after. (Like you won't pull a Charizard before the national dex.) There are 208 mons (including the different rotom forms) that you can get stone or the rare/shiny/color variant. There is 1 statue for each of the catchable legendaries in Ramanas.

Fun fact: you do not need to become champion to get the national dex. Also, you can give Pokémon their hidden abilities but not remove them. One possible reason for this is that Machamp could learn fissure in gen 1, transferring it up to the modern games gives it a hidden ability which means you don’t get no guard machamp with fissure.

@@thedisgruntled8226 the requirement to obtain the national dex is to see all 150 Pokémon (except manaphy) in the sinnoh Pokédex. For most players the goal will coincide with battling Cynthia as she is the only trainer in the game to have Garchomp, Spiritomb, and Milotic. By taking the time to acquire all those Pokémon yourself, you can show Rowan the Pokédex and obtain the national dex and the poke radar before even entering the league. It also unlocks national dex Pokémon in the underground and through the radar. Becoming champion is however required for content such as opening the Spring Path to get to Giratina, riding the boat to the post game area, accessing Ramanes Park, and so on. Aside from legendary Pokémon, of whom the other versions box legend can be registered as seen by Cynthia’s grandmother, and Unown all sinnoh dex Pokémon can be registered by battling trainers.

Wow. Didn’t know you could get multiple Mysterious Shards in the same dig! Getting 2 large ones must be odds akin to shiny Pokémon.

I have 3 large and 15 small shards remaining after I caught all my legendaries. I hope that I can do something with them in the future

Just caught registeel, the park is wild. Never had the chance to get them all before, but I mean catching it on turn three full health after yawning it w an ultra ball still has me shook

I think the fact that lugia and ho oh are given just one per version while the hoenn ones and mewtwo (other box legendaries) are all on both versions may be a hint for johto remake
