How wonderful to learn that each horse must learn to trust their caregivers and overcome things that frighten them. For as large and powerful as each animal is, they must overcome new events that occur to them. Truly love and trust must be built gradually to calm in new situations. Much patience must be learned and it is so rewarding. Yvonne and Rein really must match their understanding of each horse's fears and learning experience.

the colts were so beautiful running in the pasture.....I am amazed they loaded into the trailer that easily after being afraid of going from the grass to the concrete ....again I think Yvonne's natural ability as a horse whisperer with her aura that enabled the colts to trust her....coupled with her tremendous understanding of friesian horse behavior made this look a lot easier than if she had not been there. I had a very good natural horse trainer for my horses so it is fascinating for me to watch all the nuances that go on with the horses and yvonne getting them to do things...when to encourage...when to back off. thank you everyone at stal g for this great video.

My uncle was a horse whisperer and I never realized how magical it was to see what he could do. He caught a seal colored wild stallion and coaxed him into the barn. I was almost 5 and was just watching the horse run back and forth in the barn. He gave me a flashlight and told me to keep the light on him and he’d stay put. He went to grab some tack, the horse ran towards me (in my 5 year old mind I’m sure it was worse than it was). I just stepped aside. He was so happy with me. He couldn’t even talk. He just pointed at the house. I had no idea he thought to highly of me. At breakfast I asked where he was. My aunt, with a very grim look said he had spent the rest of the night catching ‘that horse. They would just come to him

I was surprised they actually went into the truck so easily when it was such a big deal to go from grass to concrete. Thank you a thousand times for this special experience. What must it be like to do something like this with a herd of stallions. It must be like trying to round up mice at a crossroads.

Brings back memories when Sultan, Morgan/Arabian, I was racing up the side of a cornfield stopped dead in his tracks at a spot filled in with clay dirt. I didn't stop and can still see his eyes as I sailed by. Needless to say I had to clean all tack when we got back! Still laugh about it. Lesson learned!
