@@dijone11mus1 ​ A Ditto cannot be born from an egg so no, you cannot breed one Ditto with another Ditto. Generally 5 IVs is good enough, since you could theoretically use bottle caps to hyper train the last stat if you really need 6 perfect IVs.

For anyone that reads this! I just want to let you know it IS possible to do a 6 star ditto raid by yourself! Here’s what you do: You need a Chansey, (idk if you can use Blissey or not, I just used Chansey) You need to have moves on her that don’t allow the ditto to buff themselves, debuff your teammates, attack, or nullify anything. Just pure moves that will buff your own team. For example, my moveset was Helping hands, Sunny day, (it had no affect for my raid cause it’s Tera type was ice) light screen (I didn’t notice any difference) and substitute (idk if it’s a bug or not, but it still damaged the Ditto when substitute was out. The ditto can’t damage you at all, can’t debuff your team, can’t buff themselves, nullify anything. You want to consistently use Chansey’S helping hands on your team to buff their dmg. It may take a while, and a few resets, but it does work. It probably also depends on what the Tera type is, etc. Alternatively you can bring in your own ditto, and transform into one of your own teammates. The raid ditto won’t be able to transform into anything else.

Another good way is a Pokémon with only false swipe as it will prevent it from being able to knock out anyone's mon.

If it’s early on you could grab a ditto in this region to start breeding fairly early in the game. There’s a guaranteed ditto between the lighthouse and the poke fast travel station above the port. I got about 12 in the span of 2 hours there trying to find a decent one. Though to get a truly good ditto seems trading via trade link (to get a foreign ditto) or catching in a 5-6 star raid is your best bet. I just wish there was a public trade link for trading 6IV dittos amongst players so we can get better odds for shinies

There actually is a public trade link it's 4448 4448. It's mostly used for the intent of getting a foreign ditto but you could get lucky with the IVs

You don't actually have to move it forward one day. You just have to click the okay in the date section. So go to set date screen and spam the "A" button through it and then go back to the game bad Bobs your uncle.

Very silly n00b date skip question. When you are done doing the date skip are you able to put it back to normal? or do you perpetually have to have your switch on some random future date? does the game remember? and if you go back to your real date do you not get raids for weeks because of using the date skip?

Yes you can return the date to normal all you need to do is turn on the synchronized clock again.

Bottom line he’s saying just farm the tera raids and get your ditto that way. He said you can reset the tera raids with your clock on your switch. I just crouch and lock on at wild pokemon nearby the city. Much faster than this method 🤷 But finding a good iv one is rare. I only got a 5iv one a while back, and that was when the game first came out. It was tera raids 5 star I think? It was a long time ago

Bottle cap and EV train legendary then they can solo 9/10 of the raids and slam anything they’re super effective to some of the tankier mons will require other player help though.

5 star raids should be pretty easy my friend. Best thing to do is try and bring a mon who’s got a type advantage against both the Tera type and the base type of the den mon. Bringing miraidon into a den with a water type salamence might sound like a good idea because electric but it’s likely going to have a dragon type attack and will probably one or two shot you so you should rethink what you bring in there. 5 star raids are also level 75 so at minimum reach that level or higher.

Optimally yes you would want a ditto of every nature. Especially since nature synchronization out of battle doesn’t work anymore so you can’t guarantee a wild Pokémon to have a nature anymore. Now of course there are mints so you can change your nature using those but if you want to save a bit of money having dittos of each nature is nice but not exactly easy to obtain.

Yeah that’s a good point I think really it boils down to what is better for the individual if you haven’t got a bunch of £££ or the resources like ability patch it might be easier just to breed and it’s way quicker in this game but with some of the money farming the hyper training method is a good alt, it’ll be interesting to see what people prefer to do going forward.

I think the biggest time sink with using bottle caps is leveling to 100. Personally, I prefer to breed most and use bottle caps when I have enough XP candies to get to 100. Edit: I was wrong, it’s 50 in this game. Really no good reason to breed for IVs or natures anymore, just duplication and reverting Tera type (you can pay for that too, but it’s expensive)

I dont know how accurate that is but its a bit annoying because I have yet unlocked 6 star.
