I was a hardcore party guy 35 years ago drunk at frat houses and that's what everyone thinks is the ultimate college life it's It's f****** stupid become a college athlete and and a scholar and avoid alcohol your entire life...dosent matter if you are 9th string at a d3 school , wrestle opens and your preparation and experience is identical to the best wrestlers...ultimately wins and loss mean nothing...its personal development

Does placing at a “Harder State Tournemnt” affect how recruiters scout wrestlers

FOR SURE,placing at top states like pa,ca,and nj would have d1 colleges wanting on their team but winning state such as california your automatically ranked in the country

Yes definitely! This actually is something that coaches account for, especially in Midwest/east coast states

You also might need to reach out to the coaches of programs you want to go to, sometimes you need to show that you are interested and want to wrestle in the future.

You state a lot of the key points to getting recurring. Also, making an age level world team would automatically give you a d1 scholarships. Let alone winning a world title.
